Changing the barrel on a clari-net can improve intonation and overall sound quality. The Moennig barrel has a taper that is designed to improve the intonation of every clarinet.

 

The Chadash barrel is a revolu-tionary handcut design featuring a reverse taper and silver plated rings. A polycylindrical bore improves focus, eliminates throat note sharpness, and improves intonation in the high regis-ter.

 

The Accubore tuning barrels are machined from aluminum alloy which is unaffected by temperature or moisture changes.
